Racing your nitro RC on the street or even off-road takes its toll on the nitro engine's air filter from dirt and other debris that get inside and reduce the performance of your nitro engine. Cleaning the air filter is part of the maintenance needed to keep your RC at optimal performance.

Cleaning the air filter You will need:
Remove the air filter from your nitro engine's carburetor by twisting slightly and pulling it off. Be careful to not damage the inlet to the carburetor.
Disassemble the air filter. Separate all parts, including removing the foam insert -- the filter HOLDS the dirt and debris caught in it.
